EUROPE’S WORST AIRLINE.

In this world there are airlines, real airlines, companies that would like to be regarded as airlines and then there are those outfits that simply will never make the grade. Ryanair falls into the latter categories. While there have been many complaints about Ryanair over the years, in more recent times the number of complaints about the ‘airline’ have dramatically increased to the point that TRAVELWISE deems it necessary to issue a “Flying With This Airline Not Recommended” travel warning with the last straw being a recent incident whereby passengers had to call the police in order to get off the aircraft this after many hours of delays and other stuff-ups. In total, budget airlines can provide cheap and good value for money fares but when one of them continues to treat their passengers as cattle then some action needs to be taken. Ryanair would well qualify as Europe’s worst airline.

Recommendation is to forget flying with Ryanair and to seek other European airlines to fly with. (Flying With Ryanair Is Not Recommended)

RYANAIR CONCERNS RAISED.

TRAVELWISE has a number of concerns in relation to some of the operational habits and operational planning issues of Irish cut-price carrier Ryanair.

The latest issue relates to a statement by the company that it wishes to remove co-pilots positions off its flights, a measure which, should this nonsense be allowed to proceed, TRAVELWISE would regard as dangerous in terms operational and passenger safety. Add to that other recent Ryanair measures and attempts the airline has announced in order to cut costs and the airline becomes a concern in operational terms as well as in terms of passenger comfort and safety.

TRAVELWISE advises intending passengers to be extremely cautious when chosing their preferred airline. We are of the view that while cheap flights are fine in terms of budget considerations, such flights must not jeopardise airline service, passenger comfort and operational safety.

Recommendations: Find another airline if one is available.
